Meet our founder!
Robert Slencak is a seasoned investigator with over 25 years of expertise in digital forensics, cyber security, and high-stakes investigations. Drawing from his distinguished career as a Special Agent with the U.S. Secret Service—where he was part of the Electronic Crimes Special Agent Program (ECSAP) and assigned to the U.S. Secret Service’s Cleveland Electronic Crimes Task Force—Robert has tackled complex cases involving fraud, network intrusions, and digital evidence recovery. At the National Park Service’s Investigative Service Branch (ISB), as one of only two Special Agents specializing in digital forensics, he obtained and analyzed data from vehicles, mobile devices, and computers involved in felony crimes. He also investigated homicides, assaults, sexual assaults, missing persons, and burglaries among other crimes. Success was built on his ability to bring together the facts collected from the crime scene, combined with data from various types of digital devices, and corroboration through expert interviews of suspects, witnesses, and victims that revealed the truth about allegations.
Transitioning to roles in the automotive and information technology sectors, Robert built global strategies for incident response, vulnerability assessments, and automotive cyber forensics; conducting corporate investigations into employee misconduct, information technology failures and compromises, and violations of policy; and serving as a law enforcement liaison in high profile investigations like kidnappings and homicides. Most recently, he has led international teams spanning policy investigations, digital forensics and incident response, vulnerability management, offensive security, cybersecurity training and awareness, and business resilience. He understands the investigative needs of businesses and the role of investigation in risk management.
Holding advanced certifications like EnCase Certified Examiner (EnCE), Magnet Certified Forensic Examiner (MCFE), Cellebrite Certified Operator and Physical Analyst (CCO & CCPA), GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH), GIAC Network Penetration Tester certification (GPEN), GIAC Open Source Intelligence (GOSI), and along with a CISO Certificate from Carnegie Mellon University, Robert blends technical prowess with a collaborative spirit honed through partnerships with law enforcement, legal teams, and industry leaders.
